This temple is famous for it's Buddha statue made which has a shell made from real gold. The interior is decorated intricately and well worth a visit.

Main temple in Phitsanulok which I have visited numerous times. Can be quite busy with Thai tourists. Many say it houses the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand which I agree with. If in Phitsanulok the temple is definitely worth a visit.

A short stroll from the hotel as seen in my picture. A beautiful temple with many golden buddha statues. Easy to stroll around and take in the thai people at their faith.

Beautiful Wat complex with lots of Buddha images and monks to see. Lovely and peaceful. The main building which house that Buddha is very impressive and ornate. Just outside by the river there were people selling fish for you to release back into the water.

This is not a day trip as Phitsanoluk is about 5 or 6 hrs drive from Bangkok Take a bus from the Northern bus station and stay overnight. Phitsanoluk is in a pleasant part of Thailand.
