Grab yourself some cold beers and a tube and float down the Pai river. It will be fun but you cannot compare it to Vang Vieng, Laos. I hope yopu don't mind floating dead animals...

The section of the river close to the main town is quite bright and lively with restaurants on the sides and we had a nice experience of having lunch by the riverside. Besides, before hitting to the hotel, it offers a nice evening walk.

Stand at the bridge by the River and enjoy the cool breeze and the stars above and the beautiful view of the hills.. nice Resorts to stay by the riverside as well
