If you to experience a truly Thai local market then this is definitely the place to be. Hardly patronized by foreigners, you can find all sorts of interesting local food here. Don't forget to try out the riverside restaurant and also the yummy coconut ice-cream!

So many goods and foods also very cheap, but the walking way is quite small traffic not flow when someone stopped by to buy something. I spent around 500 THB to got lots of foods.

This market is located along the river with both entrances at the Temple. Excellent place to stroll with special one for shopping, leisure and laughs. There are plenty of sampling areas and rather inexpensive restaurants on the river. This is not a floating market as...More

Depends on the hotel. Nakhon Pathom has taxis. There are lots of vans, buses, and motorcycle taxis. Just ask the hotel and they will arrange for transportation. Just ensure you understand the cost and it is agreed upon prior... More

We went on a weekday and on the following weekend. Weekday is much quieter and not everything is open but on weekends it is full (and I mean FULL) of Thais visiting. Not many farang.
