Lanta Diver is a family run 5 star Career Development Center (CDC) situated on the beautiful island Koh Lanta in the Andaman sea. We offer PADI courses, daily dive and snorkeling trips with our well maintained boats! We will take you to some of Thailand’s best dive sites including world famous Hin Daeng/Hin Muang where you have the possibility to see the giant Manta Ray. We also have one speedboat for those who prefer a short Journey to the dive sites. We have our own retail shop where you can find high quality diving gear. Welcome to Lanta Diver, a friendly and professional Dive Center where safety comes first!

I came to koh lanta in January of 2023 for a chilled holiday away from all the main stream tourist stuff and already knew that I would dip my feet in the water in regards to diving. The intro to diving with these guys was so spectacular. The location was great (koh haa), the equipment was fantastic and the staff were the icing on the cake.
They left such an impression on me that I decided to trek back here 5 months later to continue my journey into the world of diving and get my padi open water, and a few more qualifucations whilst I'm here hopefully. And of course my instructor Markus definetly made it an amazing learning experience.
So if you're thinking of diving abroad and starting your adventure into the blue I would highly recommend dropping a pin for this place and packing your bags. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect experience diving with Lanta Diver!
Super-professional, great communication, easy pickup/return, excellent equipment and boat, amazing dive sites, and… most important of all - GREAT people!
Special thanks to Julie, David, and Marcus, who were so helpful, kind, and patient.
And to the great chap at the shop who changed my computer’s battery in no-time, right before departure.
I highly recommend LD to all coming to Lanta, whether for Discover Scuba (DSD), OW/AOW, advanced courses, or just for snorkeling.
You won’t regret it!

I did my first scuba diving course with Lanta diver. I was apprehensive my first time diving but Lanta Diver gave me the reassurance I needed. With the Discovery course, I was with the instructor the entire time and within arms reach. We went over certain procedures on dry land and then in shallow water. My instructor had over ten years in experience and I felt safe.

Came here in April 23' to progress on my advanced open water skills and this place came highly recommended from friends. I was not disappointed. This is the most professional diveshop I have experienced so far. Got great advice by the shop managers and the guidance and feedback from divemaster Stefanie was constructive, honest, patient and helped me so much in finetuning my skills to become a more confident diver. Would also like to thank Claus and Tong for their help and professionalism.

Had a great time. My dive master made the experience very memorable showing where to find cool stuff. They were also very accommodating with me having my own gear. The boat trip was good experience with sustenance and refreshments. All in all a perfect day thank you.

Took a refresher dive package after 3years out of the water during Covid. Great experience- very professional set up - previous experience noted, what I needed/wanted from the diving established and day trip planned. The equipment is good quality, everything you could possibly need is available. Boat was large, clean, well equipped and amply stocked with food and drink, great crew.
I dived on my own with Rin who was fantastic- did a brief run through of a test paper on way to divesite then ran through a skills refresher before getting in the water and seeing if I could still dive. Fortunately I could and did 3 fabulous dives around Koh Bida Nok , Koh Bida Nai and Bida. Great dive sites with plenty of animal and non-animal marine life to see.
Can’t recommend this outfit highly enough, obviously very dedicated to providing high quality, safe and enjoyable diving experiences for all levels of diver. Special thanks again to Rin who is a great teacher and Divemaster but to all who made my day out yesterday a great experience , wish I could do more

I stayed at Pimalai and wanted to do a day of diving. He office was conveniently located in the resort and the pick up was right there at the resorts pier.
The staff was EXTREMELY professional and helpful. The guide (a Scottish lady) was patient and explained everything throughly. She gave me an incredible feeling of ease and made the dives relaxing and fun.
They provided snacks and a Thai lunch afterwards. Definitely recommend this shop for anyone coming to Ko Lanta. THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST

Two great diving days this week. First at Koh Bida where we did see black tip reef shark. Today at Koh Haa there were schools of large fish, lobster, clown fish and much more. Fantastic service, friendly staff and good food made the trip excellent!

Learning to dive was on my bucket list , so decided to do this on my honeymoon, my husband was apprehensive at first but loved the experience to learn how to dive ..
Our instructor "skunk" was very informative and supporting . Found the experience to be awesome seeing life underwater & visiting Koh Lanta .. which not many Aussies do !

I cannot say enough good things about Lanta Diver, our incredible experience and our dive master Cory.
My husband and I came to Thailand on our honeymoon, and I was determined to do my first real life dives. I was certified about five years ago, but had never scuba dived beyond that. From the moment we walked into Lanta Diver, the front desk staff made us feel comfortable and welcomed. They signed us up for a refresher day – which was
exactly what we needed. My husband and I were alone in a group with Cory and one dive master in training. We spent the boat ride out, relearning everything we needed to know about our equipment and going over some technical details. On our first drive, we did a few basic skills in the water, and after that we were off to the races. I had a slight panic at the start of the first dive, and Cory was understanding and calm; guiding me back to the water. We ended up opting into an optional third dive that day, and had just the absolute best time.
An added plus was the trip photographer Sandra. She was the sweetest person and took photos of us diving together we will cherish forever. If you’re diving in Thailand, it MUST be Lanta Diver!

I can't stress enough how happy we were about this review! We love to hear from all “happy customer” but we get extra super happy when customers who haven't dived for a long time and maybe feel a little insecure, tell us that with the help of our staff they overcame their fears and love to dive again !

Bonjour, j'aimerais savoir si les plongées sont profondes (mon fils a des problèmes d'oreilles), et si on voit plus de choses (tortues, poissons...) en plongée qu'en snorkelling ou si la surface suffit pour s'émerveiller?

The depths on the dive sites varies from around 15 to 25 meters. Divers will se more underwater life than snorkelers for sure. We plan trips day by day.

Hello!
My girlfriend and i are currently thinking of going to Koh Lanta. We both want to test dive before we go all in for the certificate. Is it possible with you?
I Also had a surgery back in june, i removed My Colon and now have a ostomy pouch on My stomach. Would this be a problem for you? I asked My nurse before we came to Thailand about diving and she Said its ok but i dont have it in writing.

Hi, Henrik. Yes We have test dives, so called Discover Scuba Diving. About your survey and the ostomy pouch. You will need to see a doctor that clearly can state that you are fit for diving before we can let you in the water. I do not know how water pressure is affecting it.
