Not as impressive as some of the other sites, and not as large as some of the other reclining Buddhas, but certainly something to check out.

Don't pay a tour guide! The motorcycle is 200THB. The guide is going to be 400 or more!!! You'll have more fun getting around. Bring a compass or have GPS on your cp so you won't get lost!

This buddha is certainly big but somehow it is not that charming. And it has been damaged by the 2011 floods. No entrance fee.

This Buddha is beautiful. He looks like he’s having a wonderful dream. Easy to get to off the side of the road.

Our guide told us this buddha is a reproduction because the original was destroyed when Ayutthaya was razed. There is no temple left either. Not worth it.

Impressive in its own right, but nothing in comparison to the reclining Buddha in Bangkok or indeed the ruins in the rest of the Ayutthaya area. If you are in the area or on a tour, it’s a pleasant 15 minute stop - including a...More
