This is located 1 km from Rameswaram. There is a Rama temple here. There is also a pond in this temple.

A run down temple unfortunately, but very important It is here that Lord Rama and Sita Mata came on arrival at Rameshwaram Govt and ASI need to spend money and bring up this important temple, which is run down.

Though the place looks very ordinary but has historical importance for Hindus. We didn't find any one who can tell us about the history of this place as we find at other places.

It is located on a hill top and has the footprints of the Lord as he stood there to survey the sea. It has beautiful views of the surrounding sea and is a sunset and sunrise point too.Not too crowded and easy to visit. Buy...More
