A run down temple unfortunately, but very important It is here that Lord Rama and Sita Mata came on arrival at Rameshwaram Govt and ASI need to spend money and bring up this important temple, which is run down.

Though the place looks very ordinary but has historical importance for Hindus. We didn't find any one who can tell us about the history of this place as we find at other places.
