We went there with friends and we enjoyed a lot by seeing the various items on displays, stuffed animals, old history of kodaikanal and while it is not very big we learnt a lot and it was very interesting.

This museum houses the collection of a single missionary who spent years in this place spreading the message of God. Their butterfly collection is worth looking at. It is not obvious how he could collect whale heads so far from the Sea.

Someone who has interest in biology would like the place. It has so many old fossilized animals. Around 6 kms from main city, if you are coming through your vehicle while coming to the city through kodai road side or dindigul side, one can visit...More

Also known as the 'Sacred Heart Science Museum' this is a must see, an eclectic collection of taxidermy animals, curiosities, skeletons, birds, and artifacts in one small building. A bit confronting at times, but well worth it. In particular the display of human embryos at...More
