It's most hyped location of Kodaikanal. Actually it's totally waste of time, efforts and money. To visit this location you need to pay fee per vehicle and take permission from forest office after standing in line. Then hire a taxi which will take 2200-2500 rupees....More

This and the other main Kodaikinal Lake should be on your must visit. Enjoy nature at its fullest, the greenery around is beautiful the smell of fresh air is worth the trip. The shape of the lake is bit longish and unique in shape.

morning is the best time. u need a forest permit to go in. reach by 10 to the entry point. make arrangements for permit earlier as the number of vehicles allowed is limited. Go directly to Berijam lake and chevk out the... More

Please check it out with the Forest Department the day you want to trek or the day before
