If the water body had been kept clean, this would become a top class place. Otherwise, surprisingly well maintained and landscaped.

This place is well kept and very approachable. The palace still has its original structure intact. The guides in the area present a good briefing on the interesting history associated with this place.

Not as great as shown in documentaries or in movies. It is inside the fort and one can see it only from some distance. Good to have a guide who will explain you how she lived or died for the sake of her prestige. Guide...More

This structure stands just beside the lake and was the palace for Rani Padmavati, one of the most beautiful lady in history. The palace is now in ruins and its interesting to see that there are so many rooms for the other females who served...More

It is the Mahal of Rani Padmini. Quiet Big & very beautiful. If you are visiting Chittaurgarh then it is a must visit place for you.

The Garden is very well maintained and taken care of by the management, but the same cannot be said about the palace. Looks little rundown and unclean. The water was less during this time, would look amazing after rainy season.

Padmini's Palace appears to be a relatively modern structure compared to other structures on the fort, even though it is in ruins. The palace has a lake adjacent to it and provides a great back drop for photography. Not much history or the purpose for...More

It's within the fort, but unlike the rest of the monuments that simply exude history, this one actually feels rather modern (and with a little research, you'll realize that it actually is comparatively recent). It's well preserved, of course, but the walls seem to lack...More
