This place looks more like a park now. Don’t miss a small information museum at the exit if you are a history lover.

100s of unarmed Indians gathered peacefully were butchered in cold blood by the British army here. That gives this place an important position in Indian history

An example of the atrocities of the British colonial rule! My heart ached to think of the sufferings of not just the people who died here but also the entire sufferings caused by the British Raj! A blackmark in the history of mankind!

Very well maintained. Could charge entry fee. It would help upkeep...not that it is lacking. Some more explanatory plaques recommended.
