Divine destination for Sikhs all around and incidentallyone of the most visited places on Earth. Unfortunately the governing board is sorely lacking in crowd management which very sorry to say spoils the visit. I pray to all sikhs to come forward to get better management.

We were told that Darbar Sahib is open 24hr but when we visited at around 11 Pm we found it closed. Do confirm the timing before planning the visit.

The temple is amazing and very clean. Visited on sunday and hence took 3 hrs to have the dharshan. Langar food is good, but always filled with people

select either one...Fairfield by Marriot at Albert Road...walking distance to Amritsar Railway Station....and short ride to Golden Temple by e-scooter which can seat 4 pax comfortably costing only 60 to 80 rupees or you can... More

Best time would be 4 am in the morning. After that would be very difficult. On Baisakhi crowd would exceed 7-8 lakhs. So earlier the better
