Worth it but be patient. Narrow stairs and you must be considerate of others … even if they are not always considerate back! Lovely view to see the old city and surrounds.

Great views of town from tower. Steep last few steps (best to come down ladder backwards when leaving top level) Worth the visit with stunning opportunities for photographs

We found this place amazing as the quaintness is lovely, each street you walk through leads to amazing picturesque views, the tower made the trip special as views from top are stunning, would the slippery steps up,wear sensible shoes if possible to make this an enjoyable visit

Well worth the climb of over 180 steps! The view from the top is great, but the climb can be unpleasant if you arrive at a busy hour.

The climb up the stone then iron stairs seems a bit daunting at first but is worth the view at the top.

The stairs to the bell tower are not too narrow and although you have iron balustrades to hold on to, the stairs are not enclosed. The views of the town from the top are worth the climb.

Some narrow steps (not as scary as split cathedral bell tower) but views are good. Entry to the tower is included with the cathedral entry price. Nice bells and pleasant at the top. Nice views from the tower on the way up.

There is only one way to the top. During peak times, this spells waiting/chaos, as there is not enough room for more than one person at the time in the stairs. As such, you may have to backtrack to let others pass you. But if...More
