Forester and planner of all Brijuni promenades, designed small hills by clearing the old stone quarries that accumulated over the years (ever since classical times). That is how promenades appeared; they are protected from summer heat and sheltered from cold winds. They became popular places for guests of the health resort.

It is a few minutes of walk, not much to see, but if you have the time, take it. Smell the fresh air and continue to other historic monuments on the island.

Not the best bit of the national park. Interesting, but don't spend too much time here would be my recommendation.

This was an interesting place and a fantastic walk but there really wasn't that much to see. Took about 10 minues including photos.

Interesting to hear that the stone quarries were in place for a long number of years and where and what the stones were used for.
