Although we were told we should get ferry tickets a few days in advance, we reached the ticket office around 10:45 and were able to get tickets for the 11:30 ferry departure. When we arrived at the park dock, there were scattered people holding signs...More

We took a boat here - so arrived as part of a tour. Well worth the visit. The boat was very relaxing and included a lovely lunch. Then we were taken on a tour or Brijuni Island National Park. There is much history here and...More

Was looking forward to a luscious national park with lots to flora and fauna to flaunt but found it to be quite average... A trip that can definitely be skipped.

We took a short ferry ride to Brijuni National Park and then you hop on a small tour train to tour the island. What you get from visiting is how Tito lived part of his life. There is a zoo filled with gifts of animals...More

Stay away fromm private trips! All over the port of Fazana there are people promoting private trips to Brijuni. Because we missed the official ferry going to the island, we ended up with one of them. 150kuna p.p. + 40kuna for an optional stay on...More

Overall this is a terrible place. We were rammed into a Noddy train and riven around for an hour with non stop commentary and no time to stop and see anything. There is a small wildlife area with an elephant on its own pacing up...More

The weather was "iffy", but it turned out to be a really beautiful day trip. Brijuni islands are an easy drive from Umag. The boat ride is comfortable - one can choose to ride indoors or on an open deck, there are bathrooms and refreshments...More

2001/2002 I served a military in Croatian Army. For a three months I was stationed here on Brijuni for keeping three villas to guard them (populary - Tito's villas); Villa Brijunka, Villa Jadranka and Bijela (White) Villa. After so much time, I was here again....More

Sorry, can not recommend anywhere. The island has wild roaming animals and is a very relaxing place in good weather.

In Fazana there is a long term car park by the beach which is manned and you pay on exit. Much cheaper than other local parking and much larger.
