When you are in Motovun, it is not easy to miss this site. But don't! It looks nothing special from the outside but the interior is colourfull and surprisingly different from the normal in Croatia

The church of St Mary of the Gate is worth a visit to see a small wooden Renaissance gold plated alter. It is the work of the Paolo Camsa, a Venetian carver - 16th century.
