Big yachts visit Cavtat. Big, expensive yachts. Nice to look at, but you can't go on. Lovely clear water. If you like heat in Summer, this is for you! No sandy beaches, but plenty of places to bake in the sun. The water is fairly...More

Paved all the way around with plenty of benches to stop and admire the view. Couple of cafes/ice cream stalls too. There are also some ‘beach’ areas with sun beds and umbrellas which do not seem to be too busy. Lovely swimming and snorkelling too.

Such a lovely seaside promenade, nice path around the city, wonderful view and amazing sunsets. Don't miss this place, it's really magical.

Found a coctail bar with a jetty with tables and chairs right on the waters edge. Able to have a few bears, relax in the sun and go for a dip if it got too hot - what's not to like:)

If you like looking at the sailing craft of the privileged, then wander along the front here. But watch out for the hoards of people milling around or just sat at the bars. Evenings are very busy. But one evening we took in a water...More

A friend had recommended that we stayed in Cavtat and just visit Dubrovnik and not the other way round, as she had done! So glad that she gave this advice, as Cavtat is stunningly beautiful. As others have said, not only is it beautiful, but...More

Nice stole around the prom in the cool. Itv gives a different view and perspective of the community. A mile long walk around its circumference brings you back to the heart of the community having passed through many other new discoveries.

The only car park I'm aware of is by the bus station. When you come down the hill into the town the road towards the sea has barriers - follow the road slightly right instead and you will find the car park. Enjoy your visit... More
