No butterflies, no reason to stop. The cave is lame and other than one stop for a view at the top there is nothing to see.

Butterfly Spring appears a bit tacky from the outside but the underground well lit caves are a beauty to go through. Some comment on it being a tourist trap - and in a way they are right - it is a tourist attraction and like...More

We went to see this because of the suspension bridge and boy were we disappointed. They charge you 45 yen for the entrance to a “fake” cave made of plastic filled with colored lights. When you get through that you get to the suspension bridge,...More

We past there on our bike ride and decided to take a visit no matter the bad reviews. But it is not worth seeing. The only good things are the entrance and the view. The rest is all artificial .

Huge disappointment, definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Lured in by the giant butterfly at the entrance but then was simply led round a cheap, fake loop; through a cave and then round to a viewpoint and back down a path which led you past...More

Complete waste of time and money. The cave is mostly fake and gaudy. Would not recommend! Go to Moon Hill instead. Much cheaper and much much nicer.

We were charged 5 times the price of the entrance fee to Moon Hill and the views and scenery that you see here do not come close to those at Moon Hill. Much of the cave is artificial, it is not very large, and is...More

In all honesty, the butterfly looks a bit tacky imo and I kinda expected the whole visit to be more butterfly themed but like only the exterior related to the attraction's title. Despite this, the visit was still very pleasant; there were beautiful views everywhere...More
