Yea the scenery on this rafting trip is beautiful. But the engine is so loud and boat bumpy it kind of ruined it. Scenery becomes a bit repetitive too. Way too many boats out at the same time

You get onto a raft with chairs strapped to it. It looks flimsy but is very tough and safe. The river area is shallow and smooth with small weirs that the rafts flow over as well. All with your own boatman(woman) safely poling you along...More

Make sure not to leave this one behind. You are going to spend about 2 hours in a extremely relaxing boat, with some small drops of water and huge mountains in the back.

This isn’t the sort of thi g we usually do, a bit too touristy, but we loved it. It was included as a part of our tour and we thought a bit tacky but it was a most peaceful half an hour on the water...More

We spent one of our mornings bamboo rafting on the Li River while visiting Yangshuo. It’s an experience not to miss. We went on a rainy day as this activity goes rain or shine. The rafts have umbrellas to block from Rain or shine hot...More

Took the long ride of an hour and a half. Was a bit too long The 40 min. One would have been enough. Seems nicer than the fake li river bamboo rafts. Should bring passports to ticket booth.

This is one of my highlights of my trip in Yangshuo. Very enjoyable and peaceful raft with 8 dams at 160 yuan for 1.5 hours. This has to be a must go with scenery everywhere and great fun!

Hi no problem buying tickets on the spot. Not sure about bus but taxis are super cheap. Like 10$ per 30 min. Ask for meter otherwise will b ripped off.

The Yulong River is a smaller tributary, much nicer for bamboo rafting. The Yi gets very crowded with bigger boats. Tickets can be bought on the spot or through all hotels.
