Not to be missed. Beautiful landscapes and not as crowded as some other places. Go at sunset, the refection of the volcanoes into the salt flats are amazing.

A crystal blue salt lake with amazing views. You can’t get very close to it, but there are several photo view points dotted around

The most amazing place to visit. The day we visited it was very very cold due to snowfall the night before. Nature at her best

Definitely you should go there. See the flamingos nearby, amazing sceneries, beautiful nature, one of the places I liked most in the Atakama desert

Salar de Aguas Calientes was very peaceful and beautiful. It was about a 2h drive from San Pedro. Just a warning, the road to the attraction and then onward was a bit more dangerous than we expected. We rented a non-4x4 automatic SUV and was...More

These Salt flats are quite a drive from San Pedro de Atacama, but are worth it. You will find plenty of flamingoes in the lagoons. The walk through the flats is on a flat path with water bubbling all around you. There is a small...More
