I expected more but was a bit underwhelmed. I did a sunset tour but sunset in a region that is cloudless is not dramatic so the photos were not that great.

The road to get here is AWFUL, but the destination is worth it. 7 salt water lagoons spanning a vast salt landscape (you can swim in Lagoon 1 + 2) give you a sense of being in another world. The Salt water flat was one...More

The pools are really beatiful with the blue clear water and it´s incredible to float on them. Beware with the salt. I suggest you first "dive" and float into the last pool and then go to the first one. Otherwise you will be very salty...More

To get there you have to drive 45kms of unpaved awful road... then you have to pay 5000 pesos to get access to some lagunas/pools. You can soak in one of them only. The walk along the other pools is very uncomfortable (better wear good...More

The laguna escondidas were amazing - 7 crystal clear blue waterholes (2 of which you can swim in) surrounded by salt in the middle of the desert. It's about a 1 hour drive from San Pedro, including about 40km of corrugated dirt road. Swimming was...More
