An incredible salt lake at high altitude. It is a piercing sapphire blue. The view over the Andes in the distance is breathtaking

Laguna Tuyacto (sometimes spelled Tuyajto) is almost at the border with Argentina and quite a drive from San Pedro. That is big plus as there are no other people there. It is not quite as majestic as the other lakes nearby. But it makes more...More

The contrast of the water in the Lagoon to the colors of the landscape makes for an amazing view. Definitely worth seeing

This is the best lagoon this visit of all, and at the time of our visit it was absolutely full of flamingos.
