Not so beautiful as the Misacanti and Miniques lakes, but also worth the visit. It's located after Piedras Rojas. I made a small stop for photos.

An incredible salt lake at high altitude. It is a piercing sapphire blue. The view over the Andes in the distance is breathtaking

We found this lake by accident but decided to have our picnic lunch here. It's past Aguas Calientes on the road towards Argentina. Very scenic, great for photos & a relax. Free entry & no other tourists. Blissful!

The contrast of the water in the Lagoon to the colors of the landscape makes for an amazing view. Definitely worth seeing

This is the best lagoon this visit of all, and at the time of our visit it was absolutely full of flamingos.
