First and foremost do not expect anything like the Angkor Complex in Siem Reap. This site contains the broken remains of an 11th Century temple built in the Bayon Period with a modern working temple and a large statue of Buddha alongside. It is situated...More

These ruins are very interesting but don't expect something like Angkor Wat or Angkor Tom. The site needs restauration but as our guide told us there were no funds to do so. Still a top site in Battambang in my opinion.

This is a lovely small set of ruins behind some new impressive temples and statues. It is close to town so easy to visit and worth the time. There were few tourists and you are able to walk through what is there as well as...More

This old temple simply doesn't compare to so many of the others I've visited. The state of the ruins is a real shame. It's nice to get out and about though and enjoy a quick moment scrambling around

We loved seeing this site. A large Buddha is an understatement. The old crumbling temple is fun to see. So is the new Pagoda and the giant Buddha. Worth the time.

Not far from Battambang and fits easily into a morning exploring as part of a tour. Worth seeing if you’re in the area, we didn’t see a single other person on the site, so you can explore at leisure.

This was the first ruin we saw in Cambodia and we were pretty amazed by it. There weren't many tourists there so it was quite nice to walk around and take it all in. While it's only a small pre-Angkor temple it's very impressive. I...More
