The museum is great for maybe a 30 minute walk through - especially with kids. It’s not too much information, but there’s interesting things to look at. My big complaint is the cost. It’s 20 Leve for a family ticket, when the castle family ticket...More

We heard a lot about this "multimedia" centre, and as it was very hot and sunny we decided to go in to cool ourselves. It's not very expensive, but still too much for what it has offer. I don't understand why it's called "Multimedia" as...More

The Visitor Centre is located very close to the Tsarevets Fortress and it is a good idea that these two places be visited on the same day for a better picture of the life in medieval Bulgaria. The centre is actually a museum with real-size...More

The puppet dolls are from the dark ages of technology (think 1960s). This place detracts from Tsarevets Fortress and badly needs revamping and bringing into the 21st century.

Today was bucketing rain so we looked for something unplanned to do and came across this. It was interesting and a great presentation BUT it was overpriced for how many displays were there. I expected it to be much bigger... You also have to pay...More

A civilised way to present any visitor "what is VT about" and 2 thousand years of history. Don't muss it!

Very realistic scenery and figures. You feel like you are back in the medieval era and you can observe the life of the king, the aristocrats and the typical workers. The museum was built in 2013, is very affordable (10 lv for an adult) and...More

Very interesting exposition. It's near Tzareverz fortress, the tickets are a little expensive however.

We walked past it and my 5yo wanted to go inside due to the lovely display in the window. We didn't regret it since the exhibits are really interesting, allowing you a bird's eye view over the history of the town.
