While walking the old town of Nessebar, you'll notice that all Churches are alike - old, small and beautiful. The Christ Pantocrator is slightly bigger than others and it's better preserved.

The building is still well preserved... Weaving with old and new materials. Now it is an exhibtion hall with different themes from time to time. Has entry fee.

One of the best preserved churches in Nessebar, was built in XIII-XIV century and today is one of the prominent attractions. Also a home for different exhibitions.

There are many of these gorgeous little churches on this unesco site. Which have been lovingly maintained, restored, repaired. We couldn't resist taking a peak inside for a little fee but all for a worthy cause. I love seeing these historical little places being preserved...More

Near the town gate. It is from 14 Century. One of the best preserved churches in Bulgaria. Shape is cruciform. Exterior bricks decorated with ceramics inserts.

Beautiful old church on the left hand side as you come into Old Nessebar town. Well worth a visit. There is an entry fee to go in.

Well preserved 13-th century church, which should not be missed. During our visit there was a temporary exposition of antique maps. Entry fee: 3 lv (~1.5 EUR), though I'm not sure whether it was for the exposition or for the church. Helpful staff.
