Rua Oscar Freire and the streets near by is known for upscale shopping, quaint ice cream parlors,Coffee shops,or just for a stroll. Plan to spend the whole afternoon and include al tiete and all the side streets as well

Very pleasant walk, lots and lots and lots of stores- both national and international brands. There must be two cafes on every block at least, so very easy to stop and refuel. Shops are attractive but still inviting- not Rodeo Drive snooty.

Nice street to go for a walk. Good shopping and are most favourite one is The Havaianas shop! It's a must visit as has all collection here and all sizes! We didn't feel unsafe here, but of course need to keep always an eye.

Sao Paulo and Brazil in generally is very expensive and doesn't really offer much in the way of shopping. Locally produced products offer good value, but are not cheap.

I liked this street very much. Nice shops, such as Havaianas, Capodarte (shoes), cafes. Overall the street felt safe to walk, do some people watching and window shop. I was able to buy a a few things, not cheap though.
