The Se Square is beautifully done and well kept. Surrounded by stunning architecture you are bound to enjoy it. The only thing I'd add is that this part of the city tends to attract a lot of shady characters so please beware.

If you want pretty photos of Sao Paulo, the square in front of the cathedral is your place! It's beautiful! Marvellous. With all these palm trees.

The neigborhood is not that much to see. I was unsure if there was supposed to be shopping, bars or restaurants. Maybe it was a financial district, because I don't remember wanting to enter anything on any street.

It is unbelievable why they allow all these homeless people lie around in the central square cooking their food in open fires and playing with homeless dogs. The cathedrals on the square is great but overall the feeling is not comfotable
