The Parque da Independencia is a nice place to go. You can skate, ride bikes, sit and soak the sun. Must visit the Independence Museum.

In this park there are several historical sites related to the independence of Brazil. Stands out the mosaic that reproduces with Portuguese stones the dragoons of Independence. Much sought after by locals and tourists

Independencia Park is a great place to visit - full of ancient trees and buildings that remote to the imperial era. There is a skate ramp in the park and it's usually full of teenagers and young people.

The park is very beautiful, the building seems like an European Palace, the small museum has an impressive painting regarding Brazil's independence.
