It's like a little colonial town! Very beautiful! By the bay, used to be a fisherman's hood, now you have a big offer of restaurants and bars.

The tour guide (Turismo) was very knowledgeable and took us to see oyster fishermen. We visited an oyster shack and saw how their catch was processes. Great experience.

This small town offers a warm atmosphere with its streets, restaurants, plaza, church, etc. It just invites to stay for a while just admiring the landscape, relaxing on the beach, or having a meal in one of the nice restaurants in front of the ocean....More

Great to a wine or a beer on a business day. Oysters are the "must, but be prepared to spend a little bit more. Not cheap at all. Plenty of bars, restaurants and walking paths. Not easy to park on crowded hours.

We have been visiting this neighborhood for 17 years, and have always admired the simple people, good restaurants, beautiful sunsets, artisan shops, and street carnival.

Me and my friend went to visit the place just because it was ranked number one in TripAdvisor in Florianópolis, so I thought there has to be a reason for it, but it's completely not so! It's just a small, regular and expensive village! The...More
