Wonderful beach. Calm and with some places to food and drink. There is space for the kids in the sand and the sea forms pools

This beach situated 45 minutes driving south of Natal provides excellent bathing conditions for families, adults and children. The protecting reef makes it a enourmus swimmingpool.

At low tide, a pool forms between the beach and the reef. There are a number of restaurants. It gets crowed during weekends.

We spend a nice day in this beatiful place, the clear water is warm and there are several options for food. Faciliies are poor, like showers and clean toilets.

The beach although is a bit off Natal city centre has a lot to offer and I strongly recommend. The natural pools that are formed between the beach strand and the beach rocks are a perfect place for the kids at low tide specially.
