A must do. Beautiful views from almost every angle of Rio. We bought skip the line tickets but they were not needed. I assume this was due to the forecast of rain and carnaval activities.

We visited Rio in January and the main reason was to see Christ The Redeemer and the amazing view. It certainly lived up to expectations albeit we were there with a few thousand others. We took the van from Copacabana beach. This was very good...More

Along with Sugar loaf mountain, one of Rio's Iconic landmarks. The statue is as impressive as the view.

This is probably the most iconic of Rio’s many top tourist attractions. Now named one of the new wonders of the world. Therefore it does get extremely busy and everybody wants that special selfie, with “Christo” arms open, welcoming all to his flock. Be patient...More

Awesome views over the city. Magnificent Christ the Redeemer looking over it all. You shouldn't come to Rio and not see them both

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.

We saw security. But it was Carnival week. I would look up Gustavo Faro, the guide who took us up there.
