Be careful they dont put meter charges but they charge per passenger to go to airport or falls . Negotiate before boarding taxi

On a number of occasions we were driven by taxi driver Cesar Akiyama (+5545999925348). He was extremely friendly, spoke English quite well, and was suggesting places to visit. Can conveniently rich him through whatsapp.

If you plan to take at least two cab rides it's better to rent a car. Much cheaper and much more flexibility. Waze covers all the region.

Many think taxis are expensive, but if you factor time into your travels and short time to see the Falls and other sites, you save. Use your conversion for currency and you will see it is reasonable.

The driver will probably ask you for a "closed price" for the round trip. I guess it will be from R$ 100 to 200 (brazilian reals). Don't go with rental cars, insurance will not cover it. A suggestion: take a bus ! Just ask... More
