You can feel the forces of nature in this enourmous fall of water. If you forget to bring a raincoat you can buy one at the entrance and enjoy the water falling down in your body.

this is the physical experience when visiting the falls. In the middle of the falls. Try to visit in low season to enjoy, or stay at the hotel das catarats to visit without the crowds.

This is a five-star site in and of itself (actually more like 10 stars!), but we have assigned it only four stars because a six-hour round-trip is a long way to walk for 5-10 minutes' worth of viewing, breath-taking as it may be.

True Power here you can hear it you can feel it and you get very wet from the spray but it is worth the effort to get here and see it for yourself! Welll worth it.
