Some interesting historic exhibits and currency history. There is very little detail in English only the odd this, which made it feel a little random. It’s free to enter.

Tourists are welcome and well received. There is an introduction video in a separate room which explains the section of the exhibit and the history of the place. Sadly the park behind was closed for visiting.

Great museum, you need to visit if you want to understand about gold extraction and how it is related to Brazil's history.
