When I visited in August there was a terrific exhibit on modern African artists. I'd certainly recommend that exhibit. Other than that, is with so much bank-sponsored art buildings,. you'll be permitted to see whatever doesn't offend the sponsors, which can sometimes be quite nice.

I was there when I was on vacation in Brazil. I had opportunity to visit Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Brazilia and in Rio de Janeiro as well. I loved it so much. Beautiful and amazing place. I really recommend.

It is a place where you can sit in the gardens, eat in the restaurant or take a coffee, visit a good exhibition, watch a good film, make a picnic, see a good play in the theatre, and many other options to enjoy.

CCBB is amazing, huge and diverse. You still can visit the place paying nothing for transportation, because they have a bus running constantly to/from downtown.

CCBB is a cultural center. There are permanent exhibitions but also a lot of events, check their website before visiting. There is a kids playground on the outside and lots of open space.
