This beach has shallow waters both high and low tide. Moderate temperature and very clean. You don't have to walk far if you're staying anywhere in Jericoacoara, the village is small so everything is maximum 20 mins walking distance.

It is a relaxing beach. The dunes off to the left are fun to walk and you can also rent a dune buggy if that is desired.

Must See ex-Hippie Village, next to Praia which is good for kitesurfing. Lots of Brazilian tourists from Southern Brazil.

Brazilian Northeast is the one with most cases of zica, specially big cities as Fortaleza. Now is dry season there, this can lower the risks. In Jericoacoara I don't think you'll have any issue with that. I went there in... More
