Have a Caipi on the Dune and See the Sunset

Must See ex-Hippie Village, next to Praia which is good for kitesurfing. Lots of Brazilian tourists from Southern Brazil.

My first time in Brazil, and in this place. It is like the life has no change, so easy and quitly. We were 3 girls and this place is like in paridise. Like in a dream. You must go and see. If you go to the beach, climb up on the duiona and you will see it all.

The beach is a nice extension of sand where you could be relaxing without feeling in a crowdy place, the water is warm and nice for swimming, kids really enjoy this beach and it does not have big waves and is safe to swim. The only thing that could make it better is that people who does sports respect the... More

A nice beach with some restaurant options offering chairs and sun loungers. In the morning when the tide is low, you have to walk a lot to get to the water but it's a relaxing place to spend the day on the beach. Just don't worry about the street vendors who passes by every 3 seconds offering a lot of... More

Fantastic venders, any food you can think of is sold. Pão de queijo, milho, salada de frutas, sanduíches, brownies, coxinhas... its great! Grab a chair and umbrella early and just relax. Bring cash as they don't accept cards. The sea does retract really far during low tide but during the course of the day does come up. With sun, it's... More

easily one of my favorite places in the world! it's not the easiest to reach, but definitely worth the bumpy ride. Yes, it is touristy but with good reasons - watch the sun go down and kiss the ocean - simply stunning!

Allegedly this is one of the world's most beautiful beaches... but it's not just the beach! The whole resort is wrapped in the dunes surrounding the town; the streets are sandy gaps between the lines of bars, restaurants and shops, all leading down to the stunning beach. I've visited more beautiful beaches, but the overall experience of Jericoacoara beach is... More

Its a very touristic place, far away from any civilization, no cops (just 1), no rules, full of tourist, no danger, lots and lots of restaurants (witch i love), lots of caipirinha, and everyone is having a good time. I just came back, and im planning on going again with gf and big group of friends, what a nice place.... More

We loved the region, beautiful clean beaches, awesome restaurants and night life! One of the only beaches in Brazil facing west, so you can watch the sunsets on the dun a do Por do Sol... so worth it! My only complaint is that we are traveling with my daughter and very often we get wiffs of marijuana smoke.... very unpleasant.
