On a Mediterranean cruise, we stopped at Saranda. I thought there would be more but we walked the area and only found a small outdoor venue selling pretty much the same stuff, nothing special. The views are nice along the waterfront. Good for a stroll...More

We were there in winter when there were no tourists. It was very peaceful, there was sun, and locals selling oranges everywhere. Peaceful life on the sea, but still ther are some places to eat and to buy few souvenirs to take home, I felt...More

Stony beaches, but beautiful clear water. There are many vendors selling local produce, jewelry, ceramics, art, lace, clothes etc. Very cheap. They aren't pushy and the atmosphere is quite enjoyable.

Pleasant water front with bars, small stalls selling tourist goods and not too busy. Great views across the harbour and a nice way to spend an evening hopping between bars.

Booked Hotel Royal Saranda with a room on the embankment. Small seaside resort, popular with day tourists coming from Corfu. Quiet in the evening, reminds me a bit of my childhood.
