My hotel informed me that the danger level had been raised from a level 1 to a level 2 and therefore this area was closed to visitors at this time.

The water color was truly mysterious and awesome. It's a bit of hiking up to the peak and you can't see the lake up close these days, but it's worth it. Just one thing, I wish the weather wasn't too foggy and drizzly!

For those you plan to visit the mt shirane, please note that its not open for public to visit due to the activeness of the volcano. Hope it will reopen soon. The road to the mountain still open but cannot stop by.
