Eveyone visiting Anacortes needs to drive and walk this one way payed road around the park. Beautiful views. Or if you have time there are many side trails you can take.

Great place to have a picnic, walk or just sit and watch the water lap on the shore. Near the ferry terminal yet sit quiet and calm.

I live a quarter mile away from Washington Park and walk my dog there almost every day. There is a beautiful 2 1/4 mile paved loop around the park that takes you through evergreen forest past beautiful views of the San Juan Islands. This path...More

Beautiful park but walking the loop on a weekend when lots of cars are driving it is scary. Having cars and walkers share the same path is not great. Views are awesome. The walk is great when there aren't too many cars.

Just a beautiful site of huge tress, rustic camp sites, king trials and magnificent views of the San jeans Islands and Olympic area. All close by to Anacortes, yet giving a feeling of lovely isolation

A short drive past the ferry takes you out into the fresh air and beautiful trees. A short drive into the first part of the park takes you to the boat launch and picnic area, just a little way from a wonderful spacious treed campground....More

The view was beautiful. Well kept and clean with picnic tables. A Harbour Seal lives there and u can see him when a boat docks. He follows them in for food. We had a lot of fun here.

Any sites not booked are first come, first served. I would call the site and find out how many sites are left and get the best advice from the staff there. We have had good luck after 2 or so, but are always camped by 4.
