    Remember and Reflect
The Pentagon Memorial has matured since it was unveiled, and audio tours enhance your understanding of what transpired at the Pentagon that day, and how the memorial is designed. Very moving for those who remember that horrible day in 2001, and educational for those who do not. A new visitor center is in the works, too.

    Remember those from 9/11
This is a sad memorial to see, especially as you think about the attacks on 9/11 and knowing this is where so many died. If you look at the Pentagon from the site of the memorial, you're looking at the side where the plane hit the building. It's a long walk from the Metro stop to the memorial as you have to walk around the Pentagon but it's definitely worth the walk.

    Pentagon Memorial
The Pentagon memorial honors 184 people who were killed at the Pentagon on 9/11. It is open to public the whole week. Each Memorial Unit contains a pool, the units are organized per the birth year of each victim. This place is very emotional.

The memorial was not what I expected given I had been to the 9-11 memorial in NYC, but it was respectfully done and well worth the visit.

The Pentagon Memorial is not quite what I expected but was a really nice memorial to those who lose their lives on 9/11. I think at night it is probably stunning with the light on the water. It is a pretty decent walk from the Mall parking.

A very beautiful tribute to the people who died on the plane and on the ground. The benches with names of victims is very moving. This is a must see if you’re in DC.

This was a great place to visit in remembrance to the 9 11 victims at The Pentgon. It is a bit of a walk, but consider it is one of the most secure areas in the region.

This is open to the public and located on the southwest corner of the Pentagon. The entrance is on the southern side of the tribute. This is a moving tribute to the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The memorial consists of a series of benches arranged in a pattern that reflects the flight path of American Airlines Flight 77, which was hijacked and flown into the building. Each bench is inscribed with the name of one of the 184 victims who died that day.

The entire site has a very low profile and is very tastefully done. Visitors can take a quiet moment to reflect and remember those who lost their lives. The benches are arranged in a peaceful and contemplative setting, surrounded by trees and flowers. It includes a wall inscribed with a timeline of the events of 9/11 as you enter, as well as a plaque honoring the first responders who rushed to the scene to help.

The Pentagon 9/11 Memorial is a powerful and poignant reminder of the events of that tragic day. The design of the memorial is simple yet effective, and the location on the grounds of the Pentagon provides a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives in the attack. For anyone visiting the Washington, D.C. area, a visit to the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial is a must-see. It serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who serve our country, and the enduring strength of the American spirit.
