When you pass the second fishing area, you will see a path that eventually will take you to the lighthouse. There is no signage per se to get there but eventually you will come to the lighthouse. Along the way, you can see the boundary...More

Enjoyed visiting the super awesome jones point lighthouse while I was tracking down the dc boundary markers. The lighthouse and surrounding grounds are taken care of, organized and maintained By The Way.

Among history of the area, WWI industry, the lighthouse, and a beautiful river view, this place is the location of the first of the 40 boundary stones that mark the outline of the original ten-mile, square boundary of the District of Columbia. The 40 stones,...More

Great park with access to the river and easy access to local bike trails including a bike route to National Harbor. Fishing is possible if you have a license.

The lighthouse, the park, the undeveloped waterfront, the relics of a shipyard long since gone, a repurposed early Ford assembly line building. Food for your imagination, a great place to explore and imagine.

If you like lighthouses these is definitely a neat one to check out. You can not go inside but can walk around and see the grounds. It's a very short walk from the parking lot and the views of the Potomac and beautiful. Lots of...More

For a lighthouse this is very minute and neither the lighthouse or the adjacent building is open to the public.Of course there's a nice view to the Potomac and you can easily find a quiet and private spot to enjoy the sun and the water....More

Not much of a lighthouse in general, but still cute to see and easy to get to while walking in the park. The boundaries between DC and Maryland occur here and are marked which i thought was kind of interesting. Part of Jones park, after...More
