Today we saw The Nacirema Society at the Little Theatre of Alexandria. What a great time we had! The actors are funny. The plot was great. Really enjoyed it!

We saw the play Mary Stuart yesterday, 05/12/2023. Our entire party gave it five stars. Excellent acting and amazing dialogue. Thanks to the actors, staff and LTA

A hidden gem in Old Town Alexandria. Oldest community theatre in DC area, established in 1934. High quality theatre at great prices, just a few blocks from King Street and within walking distance from many Old Town hotels or a quick drive.
Shows typically have a 3-week run. Check website for latest show and performance dates/times.

My wife and I live in Germany. After a two year absence, we were able to return to Northern, Virginia. We own a home in the Woodbridge area, but we often frequented Old Town Alexandria and were season ticket holders to the Little Theater of Alexandria. Luckily, we were able to procure tickets to the closing night of Something Rotten. I was thrilled when my brother and his wife opted to join us as they have never seen a play here. All in all, the evening was fantastic. I simply question the wearing of masks during the show while all of us stood outside together before the play and during the intermission sans mask completely exposed to one another. It seems to me that there is no logic to this. Nonetheless, a great show!

Came here to see a nephew in ‘A Christmas Carol’. Not sure what to expect and sure enough it was a top notch production. The acting was superb and the set was equally as superb. I would definitely return to see quality entertainment

We went to the opening night of "A Fox on the Fairway". It was a very enjoyable evening for a local theater performance. Parking is available on the street, just make sure you get a 3 hour spot.

Attended "The Fantastics" at the LTA at a matinee performance in January. For this performance, they announced that they would let four from the audience sit in chairs on the stage, and I was one of the four to enjoy the play from up close and personal. This is a well run theater. Most enjoyable experience.

This is a review of the venue -- NOT of the positively awful show I saw there ("The Nance", 23 June 2018). It is in the heart of Old Town, with a pleasing brick facia that blends well with the historical buildings in the neighborhood. Good acoustics. Comfortable seats. Intimate, but not claustrophobic size. The sound system was fine. The lights were up to the task. The ushers were friendly. There was on-street parking just around the corner. Visitors should not count on this though. I think we just got lucky.

This is a small community theater just below the main "drag" of Old Town Alexandria. They do a variety of shows and have season tickets. We attended a recent production of the musical "The Fabulous Lipitones," about a barbershop quartet. Not great singing (hey, I'm a barbershopper), but good acting and enjoyable. Had never been here before, but would go back.

There is a very small anteroom, but a large room to the side for receptions. No parking lot, so parking is everyone for themselves on the street.
