The venue itself is nice. We had grandstand seats for the F1 race and enjoyed our seats. There are all sorts of amenities and events that kept you busy and entertained. The parking on the other hand is atrocious! The worst parking experience ever. Expect 1.5-2 hours to be in the parking lot after your event. Since the location is in the outskirts of Austin, you can't easily Uber or Lyft to a location away from the track. I have a friend who mentioned us getting tickets to return in 2022 and the reason I will never return is due to the parking. I dreaded leaving the track and I will never return.

We saw the stones there last weekend. It was a smooth experience: Nice area for tailgating. The lot we parked in (R) was far but it was reasonably easy to exit after the show. We sat in the General Admission section and the sound quality was excellent.

The Super Stage is a stadium type set up, on a smaller scale. The distance to the stage was not that far for anyone, and the jumbo tron video was great, you really didn't miss anything. The sound quality was unbelievably good. Inside the venue area everything was well marked, and the event staff were very helpful. They could have used more food vendors and fewer beer vendors. Getting there- COTA is in the middle of nowhere, NOTHING is close by. I took my own advice from my last visit and got there REAL early. Got there, parked, got to the venue gate- no muss, no fuss. Had to kill a few hours before the show, but I found enough to keep me occupied. I could see lines of cars and buses still trying to get in half way through the show, felt bad about that. Leaving is what you can imagine, a snail's pace. At least this time there were some event staff around to help give directions afterwards. Once outside the venue area COTA is not pedestrian friendly, no directional signage. (Hint: Even though it's a toll road, take SH130 to get you north-south for an east-west turn off. It'll save you some time.) One other thing about COTA: their website micro-maps. They are deceiving. COTA is a huge site; the maps give you no sense of scale. What looks like a not so bad walk, brother it's going to be a long a** walk! Would I go again, depends on the event. Got to be something I really want to see.

Horrible traffic nightmare. Stood in line to gain entrance for 2 hours. Bad venue for concert. Not equipped for this many people. I've been going to concerts for 50 years. Worst setup ever.

Where to begin? Went to see the Rolling Stones concert. We have seen them several times as well as other concerts at many different venues and this one just doesn't get it. Traffic in/out is a complete nightmare. Bring a full tank of gas as you will be in your car for hours. Concert started at 7pm. We planned to arrive by 5:30 to tailgate. We were only 10 miles away and left at 5:00. One and a half hours later we arrived. Note you have to pay for parking in advance. $30 pass was sold out so we had to pay $60 and still had a super long way to walk. There are pedi-bikes to help people to get to the gate. Expect to pay $10 a head if you plan to use this option and don't expect them to be there when you leave the concert. You're on your own hiking back to your car.

Majority of concert tickets at COTA are general admission on the lawn. I'm short so we decided to pay for bleachers. The bronze lawn was completely jammed with people standing the whole time. It looked like a miserable place to be. The silver was a little more spread out but these tickets were only a little less than the one we purchased. The gold is also standing room only but even more space to spread out. These tickets and the stands are very expensive though. Since the seating is not reserved there is virtually no tailgating as everyone is trying to get in to claim their space.

I didn't see any food vendors while I was there. Lots of drink vendors with long lines. Buy beer from the individual vendors with bins (much faster). If you want merchandise buy it early. I saw only two locations, one inside and one outside the venue with, you guessed it, long lines. One thing Cota did get right - there were lots and lots of port-a-potties. Like a whole village of them!

If we were ever to return to COTA (not at all likely) we would either 1) get an RV and camp out so we wouldn't have to deal with the horrible traffic management or 2) plan to get there super early (lots opened at 3pm for the 7pm concert) and tailgate and then plan to relax for a couple hours post concert. Sitting for hours in traffic is a colossal waste of time and can ruin the experience.

By the way - The Stones were awesome!

This location should be banned from hosting events until they meet handicap requirements
I went to see The Rolling Stones at COTA or should I say I attempted to see them but I am restricted to a wheelchair but I didn’t think it would be a problem because I know all venues must meet certain handicap requirements but evidently COTA doesn’t have to follow the rules
There was no handicap access from the parking lot to the gate
No handicap access from the gate to the seats
And no access to any handicap equipped ramps
All roads to the event from the parking lots are gravel , rocks or grass And thankfully there was courteous people walking to help my wife push the wheelchair
Some places it took three to four people to push the wheelchair because there are literally no paved areas for disabled people
COTA doesn’t follow any handicap regulations and should be banned from hosting events until they meet the requirements that disabled citizens have earned
I’m a disabled vet and was disgraced by the service they provided

I had to get out of my wheelchair and hop about a mile on one leg back to my car in the parking lot because there was no transportation or shuttles available for the disabled
I’ve been in 6 different countries when I was in the Marines And the traffic management was the absolute worst I’ve ever seen anywhere in tbe entire world
It took 3 hours to go 4.5 miles when we were trying to get there causing us to miss half the concert

I didn’t think anything could be worse than trying to go to a Jets game, but COTA topped (or bottomed) that experience. Went to the Rolling Stones concert 11/20/21. Great show (age adjusted), but getting in and out of COTA was the worst event experience of my life. 2 hour Uber drive from our home in central Austin. 3 1/4 hours to get back. We waited over two hours to get an Uber from the “Rideshare” lot. There were hundreds of people waiting with the same problem. I’ll never go to COTA again. Too much easy and fun stuff to do near home.

We saw the rolling stones last night. It took 3.5 hours to drive 20 miles and park. They were utterly unprepared for parking. I'm sure this wasn't the 1st event they had there. No one ever checked or parking pass. We literally had to park over a mile from the entrance. I would never attend an event there again.

Don’t go to concerts there. Not ready for prime time. The venue cannot handle concerts. Traffic was some of the worst that I have seen. Concessions were 40 minutes to get a beverage. It seems like the venue was holding back tickets to maximize profits. Uber 2 plus hours. The workers were very friendly.
