The priest here talks about things that ordinary people like myself experiences everyday. I can relate to his sermons and I go back to my hotel thinking about ideas presented. A shift in attitude is my common experience being presented with a different point of view.

You can go inside and pray silently. Go around the church and look at the Stations of the Cross by famous artist- Manansala.
They have many masses during Sundays - 6am to 12nn and 4pm to 8pm.

After taking the LRT2 to the Katipunan station. We go done the stairs to ground level, walked about a few meters to an above ground walkway to cross the highway (the stairs of that walkway is dangerously crumbling already :(
After crossing the walkway, we found the jeepney terminal that goes inside the UP campus. After about 15 minutes or so, the jeepney finally entered the UP campus. Following my google maps. I saw the Church of the Risen Lord was in the next corner block.
The small A shaped church was nice with glass windows, but it looked like it had seen better days. The grass around the church need trimming.
There was some coffee before the start of the church service, and a Sunday School class was ongoing.
For students away from home, this is a good church catering to students.

I'm sorry but the Church of the Risen Lord is not a Roman Catholic church but the church of the protestant ministry in UP Diliman. I was a member of UPCRL from birth till I got married 33 years ago when we transferred to another UCCP church. You are talking about the UP Church of the Holy Sacrifice which is just across.

The University of the Philippines hosts agnostics, atheists and believers, true to its nature as an academe where the exchange of ideas is cherished.
While the Catholic Church had been bringing mass to the malls - as a necessary convenience - it is comforting to see a congregation filling up the Pew even as the Church is close to UP TOwn Center.
Amidst the trees (or whatever remains from continuing development inside the campus) the mass hymn permeates inside salving the wounds of a workweek, savoring the blessing for the next.

The church has not changed after 30+ years. Open-air, on the hour Mass schedule, Conveniently located, ample parking space. The Mass was in the vernacular (Tagalog) but it was easy to follow since Mass services are the same around the world.

The last time I was here, I was with my fiancé. Luckily, upon entering the chapel, a mass will be held on. It was a blessing for us to attend mass here, every time we visited this place. It's very solemnly and quite.
Right after mass, you can approach any of the priest presided to ask for a private blessing on yourself and your religious matters. 🙏🏻
The Church of the Holy Sacrifice is located in UP Diliman, along Laurel Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, beside the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice and the UP Health Service.

I've had so many afternoon visits (in between classes), and every visit had that calming effect. I just go and sit.
Open air, wooden benches, low, surrounded by shrubbery and trees, near the campus food strip.
For those familiar, Ayn Rand always comes to mind when i enter, even though I'd balk (maybe even cringe a bit) at my own thoughts of comparison. But it's there. And it's waiting for you to visit and reflect - what have you done to get where you are and what you want to do with your life.. maybe how you can be of lasting change to society.
(Park on the side street, or ask the jeep driver to stop at the Catholic church- because there's another one of different denomination about a hundred meters or so away, but you can go there too.)
