I went here with my friend and we can really say that we enjoyed. It was my first time going here, and its a beautiful place to relax and have some drinks and food. Next time I am going to bring my boyfriend here. I am sure he will love the place. Though we had a problem with using the restroom because there's only a public restroom and you will need to pay to use it. But thanks that they provide tissue. Other than this, the experience was perfect.

I found an amazing antique and vintage shop here, I now own three new suitcases to store stuff in. There are eateries and bars. There was a record shop with hard to find vinyls for the taking. I bought excellent produce from a health food, fruit and vege place. It's not huge. Think small square. I haven't been for a while, I think a return visit is needed.

Having read online about this area full of second hand music stores, I eagerly headed to Cubao Expo.
It is hard to find, and when you do you find it is one small horseshoe shaped street with a selection of second hand stores, bars, an eclectic mix.
I found a vinyl store which to my disappointment only stocked imported releases not the old Filipino releases I was searching for. Further up the street there were a couple of small second hand stores with second hand vinyl for sale. All had tatty, often water damaged covers and selling for high prices, and almost everything imported from the US!
I could easily buy better copies of this imported vinyl and have shipped home, direct from the US at half the cost of these stores. Don't waste your time you are not going to find any bargains here.
Overpriced for tourists, locals can buy for less than half the price! Avoid this tourist trap.

I went with my GF to check this place out. Lonely Planet made it sound great: a collection of cool bars and underground music venues where we'd be sure to find something.. Instead we found two streets of tiny little Filipino bars (half outdoor) and an unwelcoming bunch. We were turned away from two bars (Fred's Revolución and the one beside it) saying they were 'closed' - even thought it was only 10:30 and everyone was ordering and drinking. I guess foreigners with girls are not welcome.. My GF is a college graduate, not a nightlife worker.
Even barring the racism the bars just suck. If there really were good venues and cool bars I would be the first to admit it.. I'm a DJ and there's nothing going on here. A pathetic little dump in the middle of no-where.

If you want a melting pot of culture, old antiques and other trinkets + bar, gaming, drinking establishment etc this is the place for you
My friends and I go here to drink and play dnd in one of the shops available the feel of the whole expo is quite cool and unlike some other places not as chaotic
this is the place where you can chill hangout and do all kinds of stuff that you will enjoy just make sure to bring lots of money so that you can buy all the items here
I also had my teeth here since it has a dentists office, vape shop and a good shortcut to art in island

Given the vintage shops and RTW stores, I also like the discrete pubs here. The live band completes the package also, as well as the idea that it is like a poetry: creative, happy and sad, honest and fun.

Also known as Cubao X, this used to be the old Marikina Shoe Expo of the seventies. Today, it has reinvented itself as mixture of hipster bars and restaurants, shops specializing in collectibles and various memorabilia. I went here to check on the used (or "pre-loved") vinyls at Vinyl Dump where I managed to purchase a three jazz recordings that are out of print.

Awesome products like rosemary oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil and vegan products. The owner is simple and natural.

Cubao Expo is a U-shaped road crammed full of vintage, bric-a-brac and collectors shops. In-between those are hole-in-the-wall bars where you can rest a while and enjoy the funky, retro vibe of this small strip. The shops open at around 3pm, and stay open until late. For a great afternoon and evening out, check this place out. This is a place to hang out with friends or with your family. We took our young children who got busy hunting for treasures and then enjoying the relaxed atmosphere as we had an early dinner and a few drinks.

I went to this place and wanting to take pictures, I took out my camera but I was told that it was not allowed. As a tourist, I was kind of surprised why this was so. Why is it not allowed to take pictures?
