Having read online about this area full of second hand music stores, I eagerly headed to Cubao Expo. It is hard to find, and when you do you find it is one small horseshoe shaped street with a selection of second hand stores, bars, an...More

I went with my GF to check this place out. Lonely Planet made it sound great: a collection of cool bars and underground music venues where we'd be sure to find something.. Instead we found two streets of tiny little Filipino bars (half outdoor) and...More

This hotel seems to be expensive by just thinking that it is located in the center of Cubao, Quezon City however if given the chance to book visits, consider the fact that clients reside temporarily in a hygienic and comfortable environment. This haven deals with...More

Cubao Expo is a U-shaped road crammed full of vintage, bric-a-brac and collectors shops. In-between those are hole-in-the-wall bars where you can rest a while and enjoy the funky, retro vibe of this small strip. The shops open at around 3pm, and stay open until...More

Located in the shadow of towering condominium blocks, some freshly constructed, and a stone's throw from the usual malls that dominate Manila's urban landscape, this pocket of shops and eateries at one end of bustling Araneta Center makes an excellent hideaway for anybody wanting to...More

My friends and I come here for cold beer and good chat. We love the ice cold beers in Habanero's Kitchen. Nice ambience.

A pocket of character in grimy (or sanitized, depending on where you're looking) Cubao. In particular, Fred's Revolucion is where NGO workers and artsy students (mostly from UP) hang out. Cheap beer (P45 for Brew Kettle and P50 for San Mig Lite) with a bit...More

While the rest of Cubao is being gentrified with condominium developments and strip malls, Cubao Expo stands bravely as a testament to independent entrepreneurship and free-spirit. Cafes, bars, and restos are chill, shops are unique, and the people relaxed. I hope it doesn't get torn...More

Hi, yes they are, but shops don't open until 1pm and some a bit later, so plan your trip to get there in the afternoon.
