If ever you have wondered why most of the streets in the stretch of Morato and Timog start with Sct. this memorial is your answer. These Boy Scouts died on the way to a jubilee and this monument was built in their memory.

This monument is located in the middle of the roundabout at Timog and Thomas Morato intersection. It was built to commemorate the boy scouts who died in a 1963 plane crash.

If you plan to go to the center of monument, watch out for the fast moving vehicles when you are crossing the road.

The rotunda located at the intersection of Timog and Tomas Morato is the site of the Boys Scout of the Philippines. This humble marker is a tribute to the boys scout of the country. They epitomizes the virtue of always being ready for emergencies, the virtue of helping others in need and most important the service to the general public. They help in environmental programs, community work and in various socio economic activities. While this is a humble rotunda, one will always remember our boys scouts everytime, we pass this route. Those working in ABS CBN and GMA and in the Tomas Morato area finds this rotunda and memorable landmark.

This Memorial also serves as a traffic circle, so it is also known as the Boy Scout Circle. It's located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines - at the intersection between Timog and Tomas Morato Avenues. It commemorates the members of the ill-fated Philippine contingent to the 11th World Scout Jamboree that was among the casualties of the plane crash of 1963.

This is located in a traffic point at the end of Timog avenue. It is a roundabout in the name of lost scout boys who died in 1963 in an accident. Very noble monument indeed.

A tribute monument to the Boy Scouts who lost their lives in a plane crash on their way to attend the 11th Jamboree. The name of the streets in this area are the surnames of these boy scouts. It is located in a rotonda of the intersection of tomas morato and timog avenue, the restaurant and party place of Quezon City.

This is a memorial to the young boy scouts who perished in 1963 in a plane crash while going to the 11th world jamboree in Greece. This monument was put up to remember them and the streets in the area were named after them. It will not mean much to passers-by unless they know the history of the monument.

Passing by this large monument that is in the middle of a major traffic monument, the brick pavers had been replaced and the kerb painted, making this tall monument look quite attractive.
