Malate shares with Ermita the distinction of being where WW2 and Korean War sailors showed up to take the edge off conflict, and in their own way, after kicking out the Japanese, returned to a lively spot bathed in the filth of low-end human commerce....More

Malate is the party district in this part of Manila. There are many places with entertainment; discos, live music, videoke, girlie bars. Lots of restaurants. Robinson'd mall is large and good.

This is really close to many activities if you are in Manila. Beautiful parks with dancing water and lights, amusement parks, shopping, and a great night life. Something for everyone here.

Malate is something opposite to Makati. Malate is where everything happens. There is Robinson Shopping Mall here, Rizal Park is here. Most tren pass by here too. It is a good place to stay as a tourist. The night life is also very happening here.
