Malate is the party district in this part of Manila. There are many places with entertainment; discos, live music, videoke, girlie bars. Lots of restaurants. Robinson'd mall is large and good.

This is really close to many activities if you are in Manila. Beautiful parks with dancing water and lights, amusement parks, shopping, and a great night life. Something for everyone here.

Malate is something opposite to Makati. Malate is where everything happens. There is Robinson Shopping Mall here, Rizal Park is here. Most tren pass by here too. It is a good place to stay as a tourist. The night life is also very happening here.

Lots of choices of bars and cheap eats. Robinson's Mall is good for what you need to shop. Lots of construction on the streets so makes walking around difficult.

Having grown up here before moving out, I have seen Malate's ups and downs. From being a prime residential area, to becoming host to seedy nightclubs, to becoming a trendy restaurant area and to its current status. Malate still has its bohemian atmosphere but it...More
