Truly unique way to learn about Manila’s history. Hundreds of years of history explained in a combination of lecture, walking tour and stand-up comedy. Passionate and brutally honest in parts but always entertaining. If you only do one tourist thing in Manila, do this.

The tour with Carlos is one of the best things I have ever done. Carlos explains the history and identity of Manila and the Filipinos in a way that is highly engaging and doesn’t hide anything from the highs to the lows. Thank you Carlos....More

Carlos is his own one-man show taking visitors on a tour through Manila's short but rough history. Partially by audiovisual means, partially singing and dancing his way through the locations, always with a very good sense of humour and self-irony, explaining why Philippines is what...More

Hats off to Carlos Celdran! His ‘Walk This Way’ performance art in the guise of a walking tour of the ancient walled city of Intramuros is brilliant, captivating and very well put together! Learned and unlearned a lot about Philippine history with Celdran’s clever narration...More

Extremely entertaining, informative, and at times, heartbreaking. I'm not a big fan of history but this tour was so interesting that I'm actually thinking of joining again. Carlos Celdran was amazing! Highly highly recommend this tour!

This was a great tour. I can't recommend it enough. There is not much walking, we learned about the history of Manila including the Spanish colonisation, the revolution, the American period, the devastating second world war and why the city is the way it is...More

It's very feasible for seniors. No large staircases and there are wheelchairs available should they need it. At that time of year, I hold my tours later in the afternoon so it isn't so hot. No worries at all.
