- Shefa13General Trias, Philippines21 contributionsMOP is fun, fun, fun! We've been here first last 2012 after my MA Graduation in Manila. Were back last October 2022 and this time not only our family but extended families and friends. It was nice to be back because I saw that there's a lot of added features, booths, stalls and attractions. Though the number of sea creatures were lessen than before and there's a lot of area that needs renovation already. My 6 y/o daughter enjoyed her first time there. Will definitely going back soon!Visited October 2022Written December 14, 2022
- Denis85_9Cheffois, France162 contributionsvery goodWe went here as the weather was not very nice...We spent a nice moment among a lot of Filipinos families. The visit is nice and can give you a sample of what you may encounter later in your trip in the Philippines. The hall where you walk in the middle of the rays & several fishes remain the most attractive part of the visit. Definitely a good moment especially if you get children with youVisited December 2022Written January 15, 2023
- Tin_ManilaManila, Philippines375 contributionsOverpriced for the quality and maintenance levelAt 680 per person (for 8 attractions), we expected well maintained, properly curated and interesting attractions. There was a variety of animals for sure but their aquarium were either dirty or not properly labeled. We also got a bit lost transferring from one attraction to the other because of lacking directional signages. The toy exhibit was nothing compared to Yexel's Toy Museum. The sea lion and bird shows were interesting but short and the audio was really bad, you could barely understand the host especially if you're seated in the top middle bleachers. Overall, it's only worth it if you have small kids in tow who will not nitpick and instead will really get excited with the animals. Otherwise, better to visit Ocean Parks in other countries.Visited April 2023Traveled with familyWritten April 6, 2023
- Wencie mae SManila, Philippines1 contributionGood experienceThe place is good specially for kids. The part where you can see jellyfish in an aquarium is really mind blowing and relaxing. Me and my family also enjoyed the show of the sea lions and birds. Please work on your penguins area. It is fun to watch them outside but the smell is not well maintained.Visited May 2023Written June 14, 2023
- Michelle RChester, United Kingdom22 contributionsNot what it used to beWe visited Ocean park back in 2018 and there was a Bird Avery, a Fish Spa and a barn yard area these days are none of those things. Even the things that are available are not up to standard. The 'toy exhibition' only has a collection of superman toys. The penguin's glass fogs up so you can barely see them. The bird and sea lion show were the highlight however the arena itself is too hot in the heat of the day and leaks in you in a sudden heavy down pour. Honestly the price hasn't changed much since 2018 but I feel like it is now too expensive for the little that is included these days.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 5, 2023

My daughter had a great fun inside Manila Ocean Park.Superman collection, turtles, snakes ,jellyfish. We took LRT from FPJ station to United Stations Ave.We asked tricycle there yellow body number 150 pesos.I decided to checked on my Grab apps which is 106 pesos. But my mother who is senior citizen was offered by one tricycle driver 50 pesos for 3 passengers. My mother clearly asked many times to the driver how much 50 pesos then. Then the driver drove us to the Manila Ocean Park then suddenly he asked us for 250 pesos.Beware especially tourist this kind of Scam.
Attention Manila City Hall: checked the tricycle driver there UNITED NATIONS AVE. Abusing and scamming people going to Manila Ocean Park. They are ruining the name and people of Manila
LTO: Taxi outside the Manila Ocean Park are contracting ride .Check there also abusing Customers
TIPS: Better ride Grab-they are honest and helpful people

Not as nice as it used to be. The stereo of the shows are broken. It's too loud and you don't understand what they are saying. The sun during summer is too hot for the show and they don't allow umbrellas near the sea lion. Some are attractions were closed. Overall it's almost not worth the money. Only the fish aquarium area and creepy crawlers were nice. Still feels it isn't worth the money spent

Ocean Park has only two shows per day, 30 minutes each. Because their sound system is of such poor quality none of us could hear a word they said, just echoes over music; two English speakers and one Filipina. The exhibits were extremely crowded even on Tuesday. Several were closed for “ renovations”. The underwater exhibit was especially crowded in the glass tunnel through which everyone goes.
A great place to contract Covid.
Long lines, noisy, packed. Many were ‘hawking’ toys, souvenirs loudly shouting.
I would not go here for free, not if you paid me $50

Seems that parts of the place is under some sort of construction, so a number of attractions were closed off. The oceanarium is one of the smallest I've been to (and I've been to many). I rushed to make the birds of prey and sea lion shows, and was surprised that you are forced to exit the park afterwards. Tickets are single entry and so you are unable to re-enter. So I missed out on a couple of things including the dancing fairies (jelly fish).
Staff seem uninterested and indifferent to patrons, like they really didn't want to be there either.
Weirdly as well, there are a whole bunch of stalls (like you find in markets) with some pretty aggressive sales people. Can't really blame them though, given it must be tough to make a living with such little foot traffic through there. Still, very annoying.
Also, I bought my ticket there, but discovered that there is a discount if you buy your tickets online; So be sure to purchase them in advance.
Minor thing, I was trying for over 30 minutes before I was able to get a taxi/grab afterwards.

I came here with my parents who are in their 70s. (Tripadvisor only allows me to choose family- young kids or teens in the who was with you part fyi). We are big fans of aquariums. Have several tanks in our homes. Heard Ocean Park was supposed to be impressive. We were excited. Tried to look online and seemed like we could spend a whole day there. Walked in and out within 50 mins. And thats a slow walk. Yes there were some BIG fish we were impressed by, BUT we were expecting A LOT more. And I think thats the problem we ran into...we came in with high expectations. There is a touch the fish part...cool and different, but im surprised there wasnt a hand washing system close by to ensure clean hands are touching the fish water. (Maybe the constant disrespectful flash photography from others -you are asked to NOT use your flash-...or the screaming kids chasing each other didnt help the calm experience we were expecting.)
The last part were Xmas decorations you could take pictures of yourself or the people you were with. We are not religious people (spiritual, yes) and didnt care to take pictures with Christmas decorations the end of Feb 2023.. at the aquarium where we came to see sea. I understand the Philippines celebrate Xmas longer than just 12/25. We were in Dumaguete last week and saw Xmas decorations up. Just didnt expect them as an "exhibit" at the aquarium.
A good portion is currently "coming soon". Dont come with high expectations like we did, or you'll be unfortunately disappointed as we are at this moment. 😔

We had an overnight stay (my husband, me and our son). We availed of the Hotel H2O's Valentine's Promo, which was really worth it! It's our first time in Ocean Park and we really enjoyed the Oceanarium, seeing the penguins and the back-to-back Birdshow & Sea Lion show where I also had a close encounter with Buddy the bird.
The reception staffs are very helpful. Food and welcome drinks are also good!
