- Michelle RChester, United Kingdom27 contributionsNot what it used to beWe visited Ocean park back in 2018 and there was a Bird Avery, a Fish Spa and a barn yard area these days are none of those things. Even the things that are available are not up to standard. The 'toy exhibition' only has a collection of superman toys. The penguin's glass fogs up so you can barely see them. The bird and sea lion show were the highlight however the arena itself is too hot in the heat of the day and leaks in you in a sudden heavy down pour. Honestly the price hasn't changed much since 2018 but I feel like it is now too expensive for the little that is included these days.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 5, 2023
- WandererLafayette, Indiana41 contributionsVery nice ocean parkThis ocean park was a good value at around $12 US to enter, which included the shows. There were many kinds of fish and animals there to see. We particularly liked the bird and sea lion shows, which were well done and scheduled back-to-back. The trainers were very energetic and enthusiastic. The jellyfish room is very cool. There were many grammar-school field trip groups coming through, and the kids were excited and in awe of the sea life. It adds a good energy to ocean park. The facility is starting to show its age and is a little rough around the edges. It could use some TLC and maintenance, but nothing major. There is no lack of opportunities to buy toys and souvenirs. The people who were hawking a "free" massage were somewhat forward, but in a friendly way. Overall I would recommend the Manila Ocean Park as a great place to spend a few hours and see some cool stuff!Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 15, 2023
- Andy H22 contributionsWas ok, but the Penguin photographer was miserable!NOT bad the queues for us were not long, maybe we got lucky and was there at a quiet time, although, whilst we were sitting eating our lunch, suddenly the queues for entry grew very very long indeed in just a few minutes! we went in June so were surprised there is a Santa and snowy scene, which was a bit weird ? not really alot to see, but its ok The PENGUIN feeding was our highlight of our visit, but the guy taking the photos was extremely miserable and made us feel a little uncomfortable, i guess maybe he was fed up doing the same thing over and over, so i would suggest if he cant be friendly to get another job! It was a pleasant visit but i would not return unless they refresh and have additional things to seeVisited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 29, 2024
- Dafen6 contributionsCrowded PlaceWe went to Manila for a work trip and opted to visit Manila Ocean Park with my family including 2 kids. I don't recommend going here on a weekend. The kids didn't enjoy the facility a 100% since it is really crowded especially in the oceanarium area. If you want to visit this kind of places, I suggest you choose Cebu Ocean Park. Overall, the experience was ok :)Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 27, 2024
- Richard RManila, Philippines30 contributionsManila Ocean Park - Education and FunOur recent trip to Ocean Park was an unforgettable experience for my two sons.. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the massive tunnel filled with large fishes. Walking through it, surrounded by the underwater world, was magical for both kids and adults alike. My sons also loved the Antarctica exhibit, where they were fascinated by the playful penguins. Another favorite was the mesmerizing jellyfish display, which kept them in awe. While the toy display didn’t possess much attractiveness and felt a bit underwhelming, the rest of the park made up for it. The other exhibits and the overall atmosphere added to the adventure. I highly recommend this for families looking for a fun, interactive, and educational outing.Visited September 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 8, 2024
- Joy AmadCebu City, Philippines15 contributions"Great Value, But Be Sure to Eat Before You Go!""A bit crowded, but still worth the price. However, be sure to eat before you go if you're a picky eater like me. The food options, including at the restaurant, are heavily seasoned with pepper, so if you're not a fan, you might find it challenging. It's best to come with a full stomach."Visited September 2023Traveled with friendsWritten September 25, 2024

The place looked shabby. We went in late in the afternoon so it was beginning to get dark and some corners indoors were so poorly lit. Change your light bulbs. Also, what is up with the small boutiques that sell knockoffs and fake bags. Really, the park is not the place for that. Does it promote the rich marine life of our Philippine sea? No. Does it promote the Filipino culture? No. Then don't put it there! Clean the food court, provide better food carts. I decided to hold the urge to pee because I didn't want to go anywhere near the toilet. I figured if the corridors are dirty, how much more would the toilets be. And you really have to control the crowd in there, they are literally sitting down the corridor floors. I really hoped it was better than this.

There are not many things you can do in Manila, but the Ocean Park is a must visit for me. If you like to see many creatures from the sea and some interesting shows, then come to the Park. They have 5 different tickets. I prefer the full service ticket with all attractions and all shows (1,000 PHP). Unfortunately the pictures with the animals cost extra (500 for sea lions and 300 for feeding penguins). It was great fun and it took me all day to see everything. It is located directly near the Manila harbour. Every taxi driver knows how to get there. There are also many restaurants inside. I have the feeling that the animals are treated well and are not forced to perform.

One of the smallest aquamarium I’ve been to. It’s also the worst maintained.
The birds of prey is pathetic. The Jelly fish display features just one species of jellies.
The all-star bird show is mediocre at best and the presentor is almost incomprehensible - thick accent & truly lacks hosting skills.
The sea lion show is much better (better presentor, too) but pales in comparison to the similar shows I’ve been to. I feel for the older the sea lion (Vincent, I think his name was) as he obviously needs to be retired. He’s cute but is too old to do the tricks.

Ocean Park has only two shows per day, 30 minutes each. Because their sound system is of such poor quality none of us could hear a word they said, just echoes over music; two English speakers and one Filipina. The exhibits were extremely crowded even on Tuesday. Several were closed for “ renovations”. The underwater exhibit was especially crowded in the glass tunnel through which everyone goes.
A great place to contract Covid.
Long lines, noisy, packed. Many were ‘hawking’ toys, souvenirs loudly shouting.
I would not go here for free, not if you paid me $50

A good park that has many areas to see. There are packages that bundles a number of these areas into one entrance fee. The sea lion show is good. If you want to take a close photo with the sea lions, just pay extra. There is an aviary where you can have an eagle on your arm. The penguin feeding was fun for kids as well as the tunnel. There are restaurants as well.

At 680 per person (for 8 attractions), we expected well maintained, properly curated and interesting attractions. There was a variety of animals for sure but their aquarium were either dirty or not properly labeled. We also got a bit lost transferring from one attraction to the other because of lacking directional signages. The toy exhibit was nothing compared to Yexel's Toy Museum.
The sea lion and bird shows were interesting but short and the audio was really bad, you could barely understand the host especially if you're seated in the top middle bleachers.
Overall, it's only worth it if you have small kids in tow who will not nitpick and instead will really get excited with the animals. Otherwise, better to visit Ocean Parks in other countries.

Antarctica exhibit allows an up-close feed the penguins in their exhibit habitat, none other aquarium in the States have it. That was a surprise and delight especially with a 3 year old grandson.
Overall, the place could use updated design and new lightning setup. The cost entrance is cheap in standard, but you are not expecting much in return. It does provide little ones space to run and enjoyment.

The ocean park was great. My child was enamored with all the colorful fish, and we even found Nemo and Dory! If you watch Octonauts with your kids you will get to see a number of the creature up close. Also really liked the creepy crawly exhibit that featured snakes, lizards, geckos, turtles and bugs.
The barnyard and birdhouse were quite tame in comparison but a great way to wind down after all the stimulus from those first two weeks visits. This area would be excellent for little ones (2-5).
What I didn't like was being forced to walk the gauntlet of stores, products and sales people just to get to the next exhibit in the ocean park. Of course with all the excitement and sales people trying to lure you in it makes it extra difficult with a little one explaining why we aren't buying these things. I didn't need that which led to my child to have a meltdown. Also not great was the length of the taxi to get there...but that's just traffic in Manila. 60-90 minutes to go anywhere.

We decided to visit Manila Ocean Park and to celebrate the exact birthday of our Inang’Mother.Earth here. We bought our ticket few days prior through klook application.
We were here by 10 in the morning and able to visit all 6 attractions included in our purchased package within 2hours and a half.
Visiting at the morning is quiet advisable to avoid long queuing as you have to scan each QR passes for you to enter each attraction. Also to avoid the voluminous crowd.

Not as nice as it used to be. The stereo of the shows are broken. It's too loud and you don't understand what they are saying. The sun during summer is too hot for the show and they don't allow umbrellas near the sea lion. Some are attractions were closed. Overall it's almost not worth the money. Only the fish aquarium area and creepy crawlers were nice. Still feels it isn't worth the money spent
