Normally the sea around Male is deep and you will not be able to have a sea bath. But the artificial beach in Male will fulfill that requirement. Its safe to have a sea bath and swim here.

The water is fine but the beach was littered with plastic and rubbish. Given other choices I would not swim here but I saw tourists who were. A pleasant place to sit in the shade for a quick snack.

May not be the best beach in the world but.... Sitting in the restaurant overseeing the beach, sipping a fruit cocktail or munching on some barbecued chicken, away from the hassle and bustle of the roads just behind is definitely cool for a well deserved...More

I have seen many beaches . I feel it very small one . Good beach for this small city. I did not like this beach . Nothing special. Not worthy for tourists.

We went this artificial beach along with family. All family members enjoyed well. Played some game and spent about an hour for swimming. We found the sand on the beach is similar as a natural beach. But when we were in the sea, really felt...More

It was quite odd seeing such a tiny little beach on what was otherwise, an almost solid concrete island (as Male is not really a tourist staged island even with it being the capital island). Honestly, in comparison to other beaches, it wasn't all that...More
