As mentioned before, its location is very central to folks living in PJ and KL. People are friendly and there is a group of regulars who help to maintain the place, set up a reflexology path and even decorate the area the entrance. I used...More

The temple looks like another squatter sitting in Government land. Rubbish everywhere and not well maintained. A rude gateskeeper sits there thinking he is the Angel sent from the above to protect the temple. Government of Malaysia should seriously stop allowing these temples to squat...More

This was a pleasant surprise. We went for a hike up Bukit Gasing and found it surprisingly challenging. There were steps all along the trail which made it easier but still going up hill was a challenge. What a sight that greeted us at the...More

There aren't many hiking spots in KL alone, and Bukit Gasing takes the cake with its central location. Located right in between KL and PJ (it's literally on the border - 1 minute you're in PJ and the next you're in KL), Bukit Gasing offers...More

If you're not familiar with the place, it's always a good idea to go with someone who is. I usually go in the morning or evening when there are other hikers around to ask for directions. Also safety in numbers.
